green living meets city life

Green is great.
So what does it mean to live green?

To us, it’s more than just recycling or conserving or using mass transit. The ideals of going green have touched every part of Metrostop’s design.

To start, the appliances aren’t just top of the line and best in class, they’re also among the most energy efficient. Lower energy use in your kitchen means a lower energy bill in the mail, but it also means fewer natural resources are consumed.

Appliances are only the start. Metrostop was built from the ground up with green in mind. We’ve used ecologically-friendly and sustainable materials wherever possible. Even our roof is green. Blanketed with natural grasses that insulate the building, Metrostop’s roof keeps energy consumption low year-round, and provides its residents with a little patch of roof-top paradise.

The Visionaries
Great buildings don’t grow on trees. They have to be built by a developer with a strong sense of integrity, expertise, and social responsibility. The developer behind Metrostop condominiums is Metro Homes, founded by New Jersey native Dean Geibel with partner Paul Fried.

Both founders are singularly passionate about their work. Dean left behind a meteoric career on Wall Street to follow his dream of revitalizing and reinvigorating New Jersey communities. Paul, a former military man, dreamt of being a homebuilder from the beginning of his career. He brings to Metro Homes 20 years of construction management experience and a broad portfolio of residential projects.

With thousands of condominiums lining New Jersey neighborhoods to their credit, Metro Homes has developed an admirable reputation around the country for their ground-breaking work redeveloping and revitalizing historic communities.

All of their experience, expertise, and vision is incorporated at Metrostop. They’ve created a special building with a special mission: to contribute to the cultural landscape of Hoboken with homes as environmentally sound as they are aesthetically beautiful.

The Architect
The master architect charged with bringing Metro Homes’ vision to life was Dean Marchetto. Another New Jersey-native, Dean and his firm have dedicated their work to preserving and restoring the local flavors and character of historic New Jersey neighborhoods. This boutique design firm lacks nothing in skill and expertise. But it is Dean Marchetto’s extraordinary vision for the future of New Jersey communities and their role in preserving the natural environment that was put to special use at Metrostop.
